StatBroadcast StatMonitr to be used for Chicago Bulls Preseason Game

ST. LOUIS, MO. -- StatBroadcast’s StatMonitr media stats and stat monitor system will be used for a professional basketball game for the first time this month as the Chicago Bulls prepare to use it for their preseason matchup against the Memphis Grizzlies. The NBA preseason matchup will take place on Oct. 7 at the Scottrade Center in St. Louis, Missouri and is being hosted by Saint Louis University. This will be the first time that the StatBroadcast system is used with the NBA ITS statistics system.

“We were eager to take on the challenge of adapting our system, which was previously setup exclusively for collegiate basketball scoring software, to work with the NBA’s ITS stats system ,” said StatBroadcast president Nate Policar. “Hopefully this will pave the way for StatBroadcast to be used at future NBA and WNBA events, now that we have added compatibility with their software package.”

This will be the second professional sports event that StatBroadcast’s technology has been used at. In March of 2011, StatBroadcast Live was used to broadcast a US Open Cup qualifier soccer match between MLS teams Colorado Rush and Chicago Fire.
