Mountain West adds StatBroadcast Mobile Stats to its 2011 Basketball Tournament

GLENEAGLE, COLO. -- The Mountain West Conference will offer its fans in attendance at the 2011 Mountain West Basketball Tournament the ability to follow a live statistics feed via smartphones and other mobile internet devices. All 16 games of the men's and women's tournaments will be available live via StatBroadcast's Mobile platform.

For the first time, fans will be able to access full box scores, play-by-play, team comparisons and game notes via mobile web by directing their devices to http://mwcscores.com. The MWC joins the Miisouri Valley Conference and West Coast Conference in offering StatBroadcast Mobile to its fans in attendance in 2011.

The Mountain West Tournament will be played at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nev., from March 7 to 12, 2011. StatBroadcast is currently in the second year of its agreement to provide live statistics feeds and stat monitors for the media in attendance at the tournament.

The Mountain West Conference was founded in 1999 and currently has 8 full members. This year's conference tournament will feature two men's teams ranked in the AP Top 10, BYU and StatBroadcast partner school San Diego State.
