Texas Tech University adds StatMonitr and StatBroadcast Mobile

LUBBOCK, TEXAS -- Texas Tech University and StatBroadcast announced today that the school will use the StatMonitr media stats system and a mobile web app, powered by StatBroadcast Mobile, for the 2013-14 academic year.

Texas Tech University is a public university located in Lubbock, Texas, that was founded in 1923. With an enrollment of more thna 32,600, it is the seventh-largest university in the state. The Texas Tech Red Raiders are charter members of the Big 12 Conference of NCAA Division I and sponsor 17 varsity sports. The Red Raiders football team has appeared in 34 bowl games, which ranks them in the top 20 of all FBS programs, and won 11 conference championships prior to joining the Big 12. The Raiders' mens basketball program has made 14 NCAA tournament appearances, including five Sweet Sixteens, while the Lady Raiders womens basketball program has made 20 appearances, including a national championship in 1993.
